The goal of this project is to explore the relationship between 2D object and 3D object.

 

By playing around with copy paper, some interesting patterns are created by curving the sheets. Then translate the patterns to wood --- a harder 3D material.

 

The main challenge is to curve the wood because the wood is much harder than paper. Only a certain method of laser cutting could create an opportunity to curve the wood.
